Yes, I'm still in love with moustachios, but they're so cute! That lamp is to die for and oh, that boutonniere...if only I could get married again. ;)

{Inspiration} Dupion Silk

I love the effect of dupion silk. The brushed surface is such a lovely texture and brings interest to anything, even buttons!

I'm considering starting to play around with this lovely silk and combining with my beading and charms into abstract formed headpieces. In 4 weeks I'm changing jobs entirely (thank god) and will finally have time to get my creative juices flowing again.

You may have noticed that I've put the store into vacation mode for a while. I'm busy finishing up experiments and publications at my day job before I leave in July for better things!

Meanwhile, I'll still be blogging here and on The Crafty DIY Bride. Here I'll be sharing some inspiration and new little projects as I plan to completely reinvent the store - exciting, huh!
